What are the responsibilities and job description for the Qualified Professional (IDD) position at Ambleside Inc?
Ambleside, Inc. is a well-established Innovations Waiver service provider with various sites around North Carolina. Our agency is dedicated to increasing the quality of life of the individuals that we serve. We provide Residential (group home) Supports, Day Supports, and various Home and Community Based services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
We are currently looking for a dedicated, experienced, Qualified Professional to join our team. The Qualified Professional will be over the Residential Program, containing a caseload of 12 individuals. The job duties of this position include, but are not limited to;
- Acting as the primary contact between Ambleside and the MCOs
- Acting as the primary contact between Ambleside and member's guardians
- Attending Individual Support Plan (ISP) and Support Intensity Scale (SIS) meetings
- Understanding the diagnoses and needs of all individuals on your caseload
- Writing targeted, meaningful, and measurable Short Range Goals for members, annually or updating as needed
- Ensuring quality environmental settings in the homes that you supervise through routine inspections
- Identifying outstanding needs for members and working to facilitate obtaining these needs; and
- Ensuring that all paperwork is organized, filed, scanned, and in on time
Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years experience as a Qualified Professional for IDD individuals. Candidates must have experience in writing Short Range Goals. Qualified Candidates must have a desire to make their members lives better through their own dedication and success.
