Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Laborer to join our team for the upcoming season. This is a Full-Time SEASONAL position. The ideal candidate will support yard operations through materials handling, inventory management, and equipment operation. This role is essential in ensuring efficient order fulfillment, receiving, and overall yard productivity. Candidates with yard/warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with heavy equipment are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading customers using forklifts, Kubota, and pallet jacks.
- Assist with unloading shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain stock to ensure proper rotation and inventory control.
- Support order picking, packing, and order fulfillment to ensure timely loading and delivery of products.
- Operate heavy equipment safely in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies
- Manage shipping & receiving activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard & warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with packaging products for delivery while adhering to quality standards
- Collaborate with yard supervisor to optimize workflow and inventory accuracy
Qualifications
- Prior experience in yard/warehouse distribution, or construction environments preferred
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, Kubota, or pallet jack is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock management
- Previous experience with load & unload procedures, shipping & receiving processes preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety protocols
