Ambitions of Washington is seeking a motivated Information Technology Assistant. This role is ideal for candidates with a degree in the information technology field or at least 1-2 years experience in the field of IT.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have High School Diploma or GED
- Have valid Washington State Driver's License, Auto Insurance, Vehicle to use for job, and maintain a clean driving record
- 1st Aid and CPR certification (Not required pre-employment - training is available through agency after hire)
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unaided
- 1-2 years’ experience in the field of I.T. Degree and/or Certification in related field preferred, but not required
- Show previous experience with technology issues relating to computer management, applications, networking, and customer service
- Very good working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, especially Windows 11 Pro
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel. Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Identity and Sharepoint a definite plus.
- Knowledge of basic operation, maintenance and minor repair of PC’s hardware, software and peripherals
- Ability to provide excellent customer service via phone, chat or in-person to employees with varied ages, backgrounds, and technology experience.
- Demonstrate integrity, authenticity, transparency, and the highest standard of professionalism.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding, account setup, MFA, and access control
- Help to establish and monitor best security practices and procedures to protect data from internal and external threats and manage cyber risks
- Troubleshoot timekeeping software, tablet hardware and connectivity issues
- Explain complex technical concepts in plain, non-technical language to sometimes frustrated users, while maintaining a respectful and friendly demeanor
- Maintain hardware inventories and keep up to date accurate information about all company IT related assets
- Follow all established standards, policies, and procedures as required by Ambitions of Washington
- Assist with project planning & execution of technology deployments as deemed necessary or appropriate
- Escalation and routing of complex, unresolvable issues to Systems Administrator.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
