I'm excited to be working with a leading global law firm on their search for an experienced Business Development Manager to support growth across its Capital Markets, Funds & Real Estate practices.
In this position, you will work closely with firm leadership and attorneys to develop and execute targeted BD strategies across the Capital Markets, Funds, and Real Estate practices. Working within a collaborative BD team, you will support client development initiatives, and major pitch opportunities while coordinating across internal marketing and operational teams.
I'd love to speak with BDMs or Senior Specialist seeking a step into a leadership role, with strong experience preferably supporting Capital Markets or Funds practices. Additionally, someone who is proactive, and enthusiastic about contributing to a high‑performing BD function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans, partnering with practice leadership to translate department priorities into clear workflows, initiatives, and targeted BD actions.
- Manage pitches, RFPs, and presentation materials, ensuring strategic alignment, compelling messaging, and coordination across internal teams.
- Track competitive intelligence, pitch feedback, and performance metrics to improve BD strategy and win rates.
- Manage and mentor junior BD team members while overseeing key initiatives, events, and thought leadership programs.
- Manage marketing collateral, website content, and experience materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with firm branding.
- Lead directories and awards submissions, including Chambers and Legal 500, ensuring positioning aligns with practice strengths and strategic goals.
