I’m thrilled to be working with a leading global law firm on their search for a Business Development Manager to join their highly regarded Capital Markets team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal BD professional to take ownership of strategic growth initiatives, partner directly with senior stakeholders, and help drive the continued success of one of the firm's key practice areas. The preferred candidate will lead the development and execution of Business Development strategies that support the growth in both the Capital Markets and Corporate Governance practices. You'll ensure these strategies align with the firm's broader objectives while leveraging market intelligence, client insights, and industry trends to identify opportunities, drive cross-selling initiatives, and strengthen key client relationships.
I'd love to engage with professionals who have a strong background within Legal Business Development, preferably supporting Capital Markets, Corporate, Securities, or other transactional practice areas. Beyond technical expertise, this person should be a proactive and collaborative team player who enjoys building relationships, bringing new ideas to the table, and partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver results.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies for the Americas Capital Markets and Corporate Governance practices that align with the firm's growth objectives.
- Build strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and drive business development efforts across the practice.
- Leverage client intelligence, market trends, competitive research, and performance data to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the development of pitches, proposals, RFP responses, directory submissions, and other business development materials to support practice growth.
