We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing - Med/Surg to provide strategic and operational leadership for a medical-surgical nursing department. This leadership role is responsible for the 24-hour management of designated units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary Range: $135,382 - $179,382 per year

REQUIREMENTS
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of nursing operations, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements
- Computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications
- Ability to effectively lead, mentor, and develop nursing teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 24-hour operational and clinical oversight of assigned nursing units
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
- Lead nursing staff recruitment, retention, performance management, and professional development
- Monitor departmental performance, quality indicators, and patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams
- Implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support patient safety and risk management efforts
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment
