What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaper position at Ambiente Sedona?

To be considered for this role, candidates MUST:
- Both work and communicate effectively with other TEAM members.
- Perform daily landscaping duties including trimming, planting, pruning, weeding, watering, and fertilizing.
- Maintain flowerbeds, trees, and shrubs in accordance with seasonal and resort standards.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, hedge clippers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, adjusting as needed to ensure water efficiency.
- Assist in seasonal projects such as planting rotations, snow/ice removal (if applicable), and holiday décor installations.
- Maintain pathways, pool decks, patios, and exterior guest areas free from debris, litter, and hazards.
- Report any damage, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to resort safety standards, chemical handling procedures, and environmental guidelines.
- Provide courteous assistance to guests as needed while working on property.

Starting wage: $20/hr
- Previous landscaping, horticulture, or groundskeeping experience preferred (hospitality or resort environment a plus).
- Knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, and basic landscaping techniques.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in maintaining a clean and beautiful environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, and holidays.
