We are seeking a motivated and reliable HVAC Service Technician - Apprentice to join our MIH team. This entry-level role is designed for individuals looking to build a career in HVAC service and maintenance. The apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and/or commercial settings.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable HVAC Service Technician - Apprentice to join our MIH team. This entry-level role is designed for individuals looking to build a career in HVAC service and maintenance. The apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and/or commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment
- Learn to diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues under supervision
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as filter changes, cleaning components, and checking system performance
- Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials according to company and OSHA guidelines
- Maintain accurate service documentation and job reports
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Load/unload materials and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Participate in training programs, certification courses, and on-the-job learning
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and job schedules
- Completion of an HVAC technical school or apprenticeship program
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in the HVAC trade
- Ability to work in various environments (heat, cold, confined spaces, ladders, rooftops)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Basic hand tools preferred; willingness to acquire additional tools over time
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
