The MIH team consists of experienced industry-leading professionals, focused on logistical, energy and cost-effective solutions to our clients.Role: Service Coordinator (entry level)We are seeking an entry-level HVAC Service Coordinator to join our team. This position supports the coordination of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance and installation projects while assisting with administrative duties related to HVAC operations.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to and assisting the Director of Operations of SSISchedule and coordinate routine HVAC maintenance, repairs, and installation appointments with technicians and clientsMaintain detailed records of all HVAC equipment, including maintenance histories, warranties, and service schedulesProcess work orders and maintenance requests, ensuring proper prioritization and timely completionAssist in managing inventory of HVAC parts and supplies, including ordering and trackingCreate and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systemsCommunicate with clients, contractors, and team members regarding project status and updatesPrepare basic reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and project progressHandle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document managementAssist in coordinating emergency HVAC service calls as neededSupport the development and implementation of energy efficiency initiativesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in facilities management, construction management, or related field preferredBasic understanding of HVAC systems and terminologyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesDetail-oriented with good problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in facilities management or construction coordinationKnowledge of building maintenance management softwareBasic understanding of building codes and safety regulationsHVAC certification or related technical trainingExperience with project scheduling and coordinationWorking knowledge of Business Central or Great Plains**SSI **a MIH Systems Group provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
