HVAC Energy Management & Humidity Control Service Technician

Airtech Automation is expanding in the dynamic field of building commissioning. Our mission: optimize complex building systems so owners see dependable performance, lower energy use, and smarter operations. We provide end-to-end commissioning for new and existing buildings and deliver technical start-up services across a wide range of HVAC manufacturers.

As the HVAC Energy Management & Humidity Control Service Technician for our Michigan service area, you will bring commercial HVAC systems online, diagnose and resolve issues, and elevate occupant comfort and efficiency. You’ll be the dependable, customer-focused professional clients trust to keep critical equipment running.

• Perform start-up and service on systems supporting air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment from multiple OEMs.
• Serve customers on-site across the Michigan area and communicate findings clearly.

• Commercial heating and air-conditioning field experience.
• Strong familiarity with commercial A/C and heating systems, water-source heat pumps, and rooftop packaged HVAC equipment.
• EPA Type 1 & 2 or Universal certification.
• Personal hand tools appropriate for service work.
• Clean driving record.
• OSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred).

Estimated salary: $24 - $50/hr, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
