What are the responsibilities and job description for the Florist - Floral Designer position at Ambience Floral Design Inc?
Busy upscale full-service shop in Roseville is excited to welcome a new designer to our team. Minimum two years recent professional floral design experience absolutely required. Design testing will be administered to final candidates for this position.
Schedule as of now will be:
Full time or part-time (full days) will be considered.
Every other Saturday 9:00-4:00 (occasionally later with events)
Occasional Sundays for events
We are busy all year with weddings, funerals, daily orders, plants and gifts. We all work hard and have a great time in this “No Drama” shop.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily order design, wedding design, funeral design, flower processing, and cheerful customer service on phones and in . person, entering orders in to computer.
Must maintain an organized work station and assist with general flowers shop cleaning and organizing duties. Good driving record, willingness to do low ladder work such as arch installations, and ability to lift heavy arrangements also required.
Clean driving record and willingness to drive our shop vehicle for daily deliveries, funeral deliveries, and event set-ups required.
