What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper-Part Time position at Amberwoods of Farmington?
Houskeeper in a nursing facility.
Every other weekend, 9 am to 5 pm, with ability to fill in for Porter if needed. Potential for extra shifts.
Rate is $18.00 on weekdays and $19.80 on weekends. In addition we pay for lunch. Many places don't pay for half-hour lunch. So that equals to $19.20 weekdays and $21.12 on weekends, as compared to places that don't pay for lunch.

Housekeeper responsible for cleaning resident rooms and common areas per established routine and procedure.
Porter is responsible to clean hallways and common area floors, disinfect high-touch areas and equipment, remove bulk trash and move linen bags, as well as routine special cleaning tasks. Participates in room changes and light/minimal maintenance tasks if needed.
Amberwoods if a 130-bed skilled nursing facility located in Farmington with parking and on a bus route. The building is under new ownership and in the middle of renovations to provide a clean and beautiful environment for our residents and staff. Staff enjoy a positive environment with good support and weekly fun activities.
Appicant must be positive, customer service oriented, hard working and driven to assure a clean building.
1 year of experience in a healthcare or hotel setting is preferred.
