JOB DESCRIPTION:
Knows and applies current Nursing Theory appropriate to the age and/or developmental status of patients served; adheres to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act; adheres to national, regional, and hospital Standards of Care and Practice to deliver care; utilizes principles of Strategic Quality Management and continuous Performance Improvement; maintains a safe environment of care; upon delegation and under the supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse, collects data and performs patient care interventions; contributes to a collaborative practice with other disciplines; and behaves and practices in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of Amberwell Healthcare.
Qualifications:JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience:
- Minimum Required Experience: New graduate nurse or one (1) year of nursing experience in Medical Surgical care or similar nursing healthcare areas
- Education:
- Minimum Required Education: Associate degree in nursing
- Licenses:
- Minimum Required Licenses: Kansas Nursing License or Compact Nursing License
- Certifications:
- Minimum Required: BLS
- Basic Rhythm Disturbances
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advance Life Support
