Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual care and counseling to individuals and families in various settings, including hospitals, care facilities, or community organizations.
- Lead public speaking engagements, workshops, and educational sessions to promote spiritual growth and understanding.
- Mentor individuals seeking guidance in their personal or spiritual journeys.
- Manage conflicts with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring a safe space for open dialogue.
- Plan and execute events that foster community engagement and spiritual enrichment.
- Offer bereavement support to those experiencing loss, providing comfort during difficult times.
- Respond to crises with empathy and effective crisis management skills, ensuring individuals feel supported in their time of need.
- Collaborate with other professionals to create comprehensive care plans that address the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of individuals.
Qualifications
- A degree in theology, religious studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in Christian counseling or spiritual care is highly desirable.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring others.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to navigate sensitive situations gracefully.
- Ability to educate others on matters of faith, spirituality, and emotional well-being.
- Experience in event planning is a plus, showcasing organizational skills in coordinating community activities.
