We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
We are looking to hire experienced Mental Health Therapists to work as independent contractors. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality counseling and therapy services to individuals, families, and/or groups. This role involves developing personalized treatment plans, maintaining clinical documentation, and working closely with a multidisciplinary care team to support client wellness.
We take care of the billing, administrative duties, and finding clients/patients for you.
Position Highlights:
· 1099 contractor role
· Guaranteed Payment for completed billable hours
· Comprehensive Support: Billing, EHR, credentialing, and essential subscriptions are provided.
· In-house Client Referrals. We provide referrals that are matched to the appropriate clinician based on client need.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
- Skill in a range of specialized interventions and treatment modalities used in specialty treatment programs or with special patient populations.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment.
- Possess basic technology skills and able to use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances, based upon evidenced based practice.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and case managers
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case consultations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member and cooperatively.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Active state of Maryland licensure (e.g., LCSW-C, LCPC, LCADC, LBSW, LMSW, or LGPC are required for mental health therapists).
- 1 year of experience with providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from youth through adulthood.
- Must have individual malpractice insurance and a valid NPI
- Must complete background investigation.
- Must provide references, upon request.
