Bilingual Spanish/ English Optometry Technician –
We’re looking for a reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Optometry Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist with eye exams, patient prep, and general clinic operations. 1-2 years prior medical office experience is a MUST. MUST BE BILINGUAL SPANISH ENGLISH
Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary tests (e.g., visual acuity, eye pressure)
- Prepare patients and equipment for exams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (Epic experience a plus)
- Assist patients with eyewear selection and provide retail support
- Support inventory management and equipment upkeep
- Follow proper cleaning and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable and on time every day
- Medical office or eye care experience preferred (but not required)
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team
