Start Date - 03/30
Contract Length - 8 weeks (High possibility of extension)
Shift - 8 am-430 or 9 am-5:30 pm, No holidays, weekends, or call.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Travel Sterile Processing Technician to support our healthcare facility’s sterile processing department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sterilization procedures, anatomy, and physiology, ensuring all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient safety and quality care by maintaining the highest standards of aseptic technique and inventory management during travel assignments across various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical devices following established protocols.
• Inspect equipment for damage or wear, ensuring all items meet safety and functionality standards before use.
• Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies, tracking usage and coordinating restocking to prevent shortages.
• Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques during processing procedures to prevent contamination.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and inventory records.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience required in Sterile Processing Tech.
• Certification preferred (CRCST, CBSPD).
• BLS Certification.
• Permanent address must be 50 miles from the facility.
