Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Medical Surgical)
Locations: Jackson, MS
Duration: 13 Weeks with extension
Shifts: Nights 7p-7a and Days 7a-7p both shift are available
Pay: $2,110/week 3x12
Pay: $2,600/week 4x12
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in a Level 1 trauma environment.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and blood administration.
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and telemetry data.
- Manage central lines, chest tubes, and wound care, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control compliance.
Requirements
- Active RN state (MS) / Compact state license
- Recent 2 years of Med Surg (Medical Surgical) experience in Acute Facility (Hopsital or Medical Center)
- EMR system : EPIC
- BLS certification
