Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU
Locations: Monterey, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks with extension
Shifts: 3x12 12 hour nights
Pay: $3000 to $3100 per Week
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to newborns ≥31 weeks gestation with conditions such as hyperbilirubinemia, hypoglycemia, and infection.
- Attend deliveries as the primary baby nurse, performing neonatal resuscitation and stabilization as needed.
- Deliver couplet care and educate families on breastfeeding and newborn care.
- Collaborate with RTs and physicians to ensure continuity of neonatal care.
- Float to couplet care and pediatrics as needed.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years Level III (or higher) NICU experience
- Travelers: No first-time travelers accepted
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- NRP
