Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in psychiatric care to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mental health nursing, with comprehensive knowledge of psychiatric assessment, intervention, and patient-centered care. The RN Psychiatric will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, supporting patient safety, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop personalized care plans aligned with best practices and patient needs.
• Administer medications, including psychotropic drugs, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor patients’ mental status, vital signs, and physical health, promptly identifying any changes or adverse reactions.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including crisis management, de-escalation techniques, and emotional support to patients experiencing acute distress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies.

Experience

• 2 years of Psych experience needed.
• RN MI state License.
• BLS Certification.
