Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Shift Timings: Day | 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30)
Pay: $2200/Week
Job Description:
Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit at The Ohio State University Hospital.
Administer medications, start and manage IVs, monitor vital signs, and assess patient responses to treatment.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective patient care.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in EPIC and adhere to all hospital safety and compliance standards.
Float to similar units within the OSU system as required.
Requirements:
Active Ohio or Compact RN License
2 years of recent acute care/medical-surgical experience
BLS Certification (required)
EPIC EMR experience (preferred)
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,200.00 per week
