Shift: Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for respiratory therapists with strong critical care experience who thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments.
- Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and other life support equipment.
- Respond to emergency situations, including rapid responses and code blue events.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care respiratory therapy experience required.
- Active RRT credential required.
- Current state Respiratory Care license (if applicable).
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (facility requirements may vary).
- Strong ventilator management and critical care skills.
