Shift - 8 HRS days & Evening shift (7 on 7 off Shift 1300 - 2330)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team starting in January. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pharmacy operations, patient service, and medication management, with experience in LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy, critical care, and hospital settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care through precise medication preparation, dispensing, and support within a fast-paced clinical environment. The Pharmacy Technician will play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient medication delivery while adhering to strict aseptic techniques and medical terminology standards.

Duties

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
• Assist pharmacists with medication intake procedures, verifying patient information and medication orders.
• Support the administration of medications, including IV infusions and other specialized therapies, following aseptic techniques.
• Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing, inventory levels, and patient interactions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care, providing expert guidance on medication administration and therapy plans.

Requirements:

• 2 years experience needed.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) via PTCB Verification
