- Strong exposure to clinical pharmacy and medication management
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense inpatient medication orders
- Provide clinical pharmacy support and medication management
- Perform renal dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, and therapeutic drug monitoring
- Support anticoagulation and high-alert medication management
- Prepare IV medications using sterile compounding practices
- Utilize Epic and Pyxis/automated medication dispensing systems
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Promote medication safety and compliance with pharmacy standards
🔹 Requirements
- PharmD and active RPh license
- 2 years of pharmacist experience preferred
- Inpatient/acute-care pharmacy experience
- BLS & ACLS required
- Kansas pharmacist license or applicable compact license in hand at submission
- Epic experience required
- Travel experience is not required

Anticoagulation • High-Alert Medications • Pediatric Dosing • Pharmacokinetics • Renal Dosing • Therapeutic Drug Monitoring • Warfarin Dosing • IV Preparation • IV Push Medications • Sterile Compounding • Pyxis
📌 Additional Details
- Weekend coverage approximately every third weekend
- Travelers may float to comparable units based on operational needs
- Orientation and required modules completed onsite
- One pre-approved time-off request may be permitted
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
