Ambassador Personnel is hiring a Human Resource Specialist I in Little Rock, AR! This position pays $28.00 per hour with weekly pay. If you have HR and payroll experience and enjoy supporting employees and managers in a busy operation, this could be a great opportunity!
This position is scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. This is a temporary assignment through November 28, 2026.
As a Human Resource Specialist I, you'll support the HR Manager and HR Business Partner by handling core HR processes, including new associate orientation, onboarding and exit interviews, leave administration, unemployment claims, return-to-work coordination, and OSHA reporting. You'll provide policy and procedure guidance to associates and supervisors, support hiring managers with recruiting and staffing plans, assist with the eTime system and payroll-related activities, and help run employee engagement programs.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Payroll experience is required!
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, and 2–5 years of HR experience is preferred.
- PHR or SPHR certification and Workday experience are a major plus.
- Candidates should be strong communicators, good problem-solvers, and comfortable working with people at every level of the organization.
Interviews will be held in person.
