Warehouse Associate Loader

If you have prior container loading experience, Crown Pacer equipment knowledge and are comfortable working in cold warehouse environments, this position may be the position for you!!

Candidates must be safety-focused, physically capable, and experienced in loading operations within fast-paced warehouse settings.

This position will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading products, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This role supports food distribution operations in a cold storage setting while ensuring accuracy, safety, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean trailers prior to loading.
• Inspect products for shortages, damage, quality issues, or packaging deterioration and report findings to a supervisor.
• Load product onto trucks according to truck mapping and special instructions to ensure stability and prevent damage.
• Hand-load product onto trucks when required.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE), including stand-up Crown forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Complete forklift certification and follow standard operating procedures.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems safely and accurately.
• Comply with all applicable regulations (OSHA, HACCP, and food safety standards).
• Support company food safety programs and best practices.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of warehouse/loading experience preferred
• Prior loading container experience required
• Experience operating Crown Pacer equipment preferred
• Ability to work in cold environments around 35 degrees
• Ability to work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments
• Ability to lift between 50 lb consistently throughout shift
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math and documentation skills required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong physical stamina and attention to detail

Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures, including freezer and cold dock areas around 35 degrees. Candidates should dress in layers and be comfortable with repetitive lifting, loading containers, operating warehouse equipment, and standing for extended periods throughout the shift.
