Ambassador Meat is a further processed protein company located in Kansas City, MO. The family owned company was founded in 1972 and has a rich background in both raw processed and traditional fully sous vide cooked proteins.
We are currently looking to hire an onsite R/D Food Technologist. The R&D technologist will be responsible for working in all aspects and functions of Ambassador Meat product development, including but not limited to developing both raw and sous vide USDA products to meet customer needs, from concept to commercialization. This position is self-governing and the candidate must be willing to accept new responsibilities as needed.
Duties include but are not limited to
· Attending daily R&D meetings
· Producing product samples,
· Shipping customer samples,
· Maintaining product sample freezer/cooler area,
· Keeping complete product records
· Producing production ready batch sheets
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field
