The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) organizes and provides speech-language services to facilitate rehabilitation within Ambassador Health. They direct patient participation in targeted tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. Additionally, the SLP helps patients develop essential communication and swallowing skills, working to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. They also promote activities to maintain health, adhering to the profession’s scope of practice and Code of Ethics.
