Full Time Sales Associate- CIGAR store (Peoria)

We are a premier cigar store, lounge and beer/wine bar. It is a smoking environment. We are a family-owned business, and we treat our employees like family.

We are looking for a friendly Sales Associate to help customers select/purchase cigars and enjoy the lounge, as well as serve beer/wine when needed. (May earn tips.)

Cigar knowledge is required. Passionate candidates only.

Job duties

• Warmly and professionally welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance
• Assist customers by providing information on products
• Respond promptly and courteously to customer requests
• Warmly and professionally answer the phone
• Operate the cash register and handle all cash and credit transactions to the highest ethical and legal standard
• Maintain clean store environment at all times
• Receive products (includes counting, logging on the computer, and stocking)
• Take and maintain product inventory
• Print price labels, tag products with prices
• Maintain fully stocked and organized product shelves
• Assist in coordinating work schedules with other employees
• Serve beer/wine as needed
• Cigar knowledge is required. Passionate candidates only. Expand your knowledge about cigars, cigar accessories, or general aspects of operating a retail store, as needed
• Sell cigars

Additional information

• Store is open 7 days a week.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• A background check will be performed on the successful candidate.
• Random drug tests may be required throughout employment.

Pay

• Pay may be negotiated based on experience.
• May earn tips
