Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role located in Roslyn, NY, for a Real Estate Title Attorney. The attorney will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, conducting title examinations, and providing counsel on residential and commericial real estate transactions. The role requires coordinating closely with clients and realtors to facilitate smooth and seamless closings.
Qualifications
- Licensed attorney in New York State with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Review title reports to identify liens, violations, and ownership issues affecting title
- Clear title by resolving liens, judgments, and encumbrances to satisfy closing requirements
- Prepare and review closing documents ensuring smooth, compliant closings
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to guide clients through clearance and issue resolutionin
- Experience in title review or title insurance is a plus
