We are seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join our team and help maintain, improve, and scale our computing resources powered by Kubernetes (K8s). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large-scale infrastructure, thrives in dynamic environments, and learns new technologies quickly.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve our Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and efficiency of computing resources. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster performance, networking, and storage. Collaborate with engineers to support ML/AI workloads, distributed systems, and high-performance computing applications. Automate repetitive tasks and develop tools to improve developer and operational workflows. Stay up to date with Kubernetes ecosystem advancements and propose improvements.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in software engineering with experience in Kubernetes and containerized environments (Docker, containerd, etc.). Solid programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, or similar). Familiarity with Linux systems, networking, and data storage. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Nice to Have (Plus):
Prior experience running or experimenting with Kubernetes clusters at scale. Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Helm, Terraform, Ansible). Exposure to ML/AI workloads, GPU scheduling, or distributed training frameworks.

The base range is $150,000-$165,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to convert to a full-time regular position. We also offer new-hire RSU grants and the opportunity for annual RSU grants, as well as other highly competitive benefits
