JOB SUMMARY: This intern will support the Operations team with various tasks, such as: assisting with day-to-day operational processes, analyzing business data, maintaining accurate records and documentation, supporting process improvement initiatives, coordinating with internal teams, and helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service across the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with day-to-day operational processes and administrative tasks
- Review and organize operational data, records, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with tracking workflows, projects, and operational metrics
- Support process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist with creating reports, presentations, and other materials to support the Operations team
- Collaborate with internal departments to help coordinate operational activities and resolve issues
- Research insurance industry operations, processes, and best practices
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year of college with at least a 3.00 GPA
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Insurance, Economics, or a related area of study
- Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Exhibits strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- These positions are required to be in-office, so candidates must have reliable transportation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read
- technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
