Position Summary:
This seasonal position provides administrative and logistical support for the mascot and cheerleading function of the Atlanta Falcons. This position will require evening and weekend hours as dictated by the department’s events and game day responsibilities. This seasonal assignment will run from April 2026 through the end of the Falcons 2026-2027 season
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage mascot and cheer request calendar and email inboxes
- Submit, track and confirm all mascot and cheer appearance requests
- Promote all mascot and cheer programs and appearances
- Create and upkeep databases for mascot and cheer related programs and promotions
- Consistently monitor and update mascot and cheer web pages, along with photo inventory and galleries
- Assist with coordinating Cheer Auditions
- Attend and assist with mascot and cheer appearances
- Assist with gameday operations for mascot and cheer
- Respond to all mascot/cheer related inquiries
- Assist with internal and external mascot/cheer appearance request forms, calendars and confirmations Assist with youth (Jr Cheer) cheerleading program
- Assist with mascot shows and programs
- Be a liaison for Cheer/Mascot to internal departments
- Assist with ordering giveaways for Mascot program
- Assist with social media content and collaboration
- Ensure that both mascot and cheer programs stay within budget
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience in event operations
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the sports industry preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Comfort working in high-visibility, fast-paced environments
