POSTED ON 3/3/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/2/2026

Description

Are you passionate about driving technological transformation through AI and automation? Join the Employee Onboarding Experience (EOE) team as a Technical Program Manager III delivering against our 2026 Service Delivery Automation and Efficiency initiative. This strategic program spans 20 launches across three VP organizations and seven contingency domains, with AI and Agentic solutions one of the primary technical lever.

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager III to drive strategic transformation of Employee Onboarding Experience (EOE) Contingencies across Amazon's global workforce. This role orchestrates delivery across 3 VP organizations and 10 tech teams to revolutionize service delivery through AI-powered automation and durable technical architecture.

In this position, you will own a program where business and architectural strategy may not be defined, bringing clarity to ambiguous situations and driving consensus across diverse stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Finance, and senior technical leadership. You will shape the 3-year technical vision for contingency services spanning Work Authorization, Background Checks, Drug Testing, Medical Checks, Immigration, and Relocation—establishing reference architectures that enable Amazon to scale from 1.8M to 3M workers without proportional service team growth.

Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical delivery strategy for organization-wide goals, creating scalable mechanisms and methodologies that drive Service Delivery Automation across multiple Vice President organizations
- Drive VP-level strategy for service delivery transformation, influencing investment priorities and resource allocation while making trade-offs between business opportunity and technical sustainability.
- Manage complex cross-functional programs by establishing clear business and technical requirements, defining delivery scope, timelines, and milestones while making appropriate trade-offs to optimize return-on-investment
- Build consensus and align teams toward coherent strategies, coordinating with business leaders, engineering teams, security and compliance, and product management to drive development progress
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and roadblocks across the program portfolio, initiating technical deep dives and organizing working sessions to solve problems and mitigate risks
- Communicate program status effectively to senior leadership, including writing compelling narratives and presenting complex decisions and trade-offs to directors and vice presidents
