Description
Amazon internships across all seasons are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work in office, Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the Amazon work-day.
Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes.

- Collaborate and partner with business teams to define and solve problems that impact customers.
- Define project requirements and work to clarify the technical implementation by driving design discussions
- Identify predictors and causes of business related problems and implement novel approaches related to forecasting and prediction.
- Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations.
- Build relationships, identify stakeholders, and influence other teams across organizations and external teams.
- Define analytical approaches to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve processes.
- Influence technology at the component level.
- Interface with engineering disciplines to deliver project requirements

Basic Qualifications
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to a 12 week internship maximum
- Are enrolled in a academic program that is physically located in the United States
- Experience previously in program or project management
- Bachelor's degree or above in a technical or engineering related field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, etc.
- Currently working towards a Bachelor’s, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with an expected conferral date October 2026 – December 2029.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software
- Knowledge of industry technologies in program or product domain (e.g., hardware, network, software, systems) and how to apply those technologies to solve problems
- Knowledge of collecting data from log files, data stores, SQL, and APIs
- Experience transforming raw thoughts into clear technical documentation and/or direction.
- Able to dive deeply into technical details (e.g., key dependencies, design choices, operability, etc.) and drive constructive discussions with engineers.
- Strong technical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Problem-solving mind-set, proactive issue resolution skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Understands a broad range of techniques for conducting technical analysis and know when to use them.
