This position will be responsible for the implementation and customization of brand design standards. We optimize store layouts to create intuitive and efficient shopping environments while ensuring our designs are customer obsessed and prioritize workflow efficiency.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $124,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Translating brand design standards and concepts in an innovative yet fiscally responsible way
- Completing test fits and feasibility studies for your designs
- Working with key internal and external stakeholders in the production of comprehensive design development package and documents as needed to communicate design
- Coordinating with construction team on budget considerations and value engineering efforts
- Communicating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Driving and creating Schematic Design Packages
- Reviewing construction documents, shop drawings and landlord documentation
- Providing Construction Administrative support as needed

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in architecture or interior design
- 5 years of commercial retail design or architecture experience
- Intermediate Revit skills required
- Grocery experience strongly preferred
- Architectural or Interior Design FF&E background preferred
- Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, Enscape, SketchUp, SmartSheet
- Knowledge of current sustainability trends and practices preferred
- Proven track record of owning projects from start to finish
- Ability to manage change though multiple projects in various phases of design
- Experience with design development, construction documents, permitting and construction administration
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an extremely fast paced, ambiguous environment
