Sub Same Day (SSD) is looking for a Sr. Program Manager with a delivery record and proven program management experience to own a significantly complex and cross-organization building design initiative for our faster than Same Day fulfillment centers. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations, including under-the-roof and on-the-road processes, engineering product solutions and development of long term roadmaps will be conducive in delivering innovations . This role will play a critical role in designing the future building design solutions for the Sub-Same Day business. It requires a high-level of ownership over the strategic design and implementation, the ability to think outside of the box, willingness to disrupt the current processes to create a new process, the ability to understand one-way vs two-way doors, make trade-off decisions and influence stakeholders. This role will scope highly complex building design and automation solutions, identify risks/opportunities in strategies, effectively force multiple and communicate to senior management to accelerating business progress.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Key job responsibilities
- Driving innovation that improves the under-the-roof processes and continuously removes cost from our fulfillment and delivery network
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, execute, and standardize complex projects to achieve 2026 variable cost and quality goals
- Gathering and analyzing data across fulfillment and delivery functions to establish global standards for operations and other cross functional teams
- Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities
- Developing Amazon best practices for internal operations
- Leveraging analytics to support the future state of the business
- Confidence operating in a highly ambiguous and iterative business space
- High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to challenge and influence big leaders
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
