As a Sr. System TPM Manager, you manage a team of TPMs who lead the hardware engineering teams in developing products from concept to mass production. Your team owns the end-to-end schedule, reporting on engineering issues, defining mitigation strategies, leading cost down efforts, and keeping senior management up-to-date on progress. You are the single threaded owner for ensuring end to end delivery of a portfolio of devices, from ensuring we have proper staffing, planning, and budgets to deliver products to customers.
Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. In this role, you will:
Manage multiple technical program managers
Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements
Deep dive on key technical issues and lead teams to find solutions within program constraints
Own cross functional development schedules
Lead cross functional development on new technology from design through mass production, working across all hardware disciplines
Work with remote teams across the world and travel to Asia to complete prototype builds to test and validate our product designs.
Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and to drive key decision making
Manage resource prioritization, drive cost down efforts, look around corners to prevent common development pitfalls.
Lead key product development milestones following a waterfall style development within hardware.
Own budget planning and headcount staffing

Basic Qualifications
- 7 years of people management experience
- 7 years of technical program management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Experience in people management
- Experience in technical program management
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of work in internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment experience
- Knowledge of cloud computing services or deployment architecture
- Experience working in an internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
- Master's degree or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
