Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The Leo team is looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual who wants to join our team as a Production Supervisor. This role will be responsible for managing warehouse associates in functional areas such as material receipt, picking, kitting, or material delivery. This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from production co-ordination and execution, labor planning to strategic projects to new system development to supporting the customers that depend on our services.

Key job responsibilities
- Hire, support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce, promoting a culture of inclusion, innovation and performance.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
- Supervise a team of technicians focused on early production and scaling output.
- Work with Senior Manager to plan and coordinate daily tasks for technicians and activities of all operations with an ability to adapt to changing schedules and other dynamic priorities.
- Work cross-functionally with management, facilities, and supply chain to maintain operations and materials for an ISO 7/8 cleanroom.
- Ability to provide timely feedback on designs, processes, and custom equipment used in routine prototyping, fabrication, and characterization.
- Author, maintain, and train others to all relevant process documentation, including Assembly, Inspection, Testing/In-Process Characterization, and Packaging Procedures.
- Review and approve rework to ensure accuracy and enforce traceability.
- Comply with all Company Policies including Health, Safety, and Environmental Regulations, Personal Protective Equipment Requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures.

You drive improvements in productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving. You drive labor forecasting and ensure we staff according to business needs. You recognize the value of cross-training and use this as a tool to provide labor flexibility depending on daily workload in each area.

Basic Qualifications

- 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience, or Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
- 2 years of direct management experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in managing and troublshooting network
- Experience coaching and mentoring at the management level
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- 3 years of demonstrating safety standards experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
