Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Design and implement comprehensive workforce analytics solutions that drive operational excellence and business outcomes.
- Lead the development of innovative planning technologies that unify headcount planning, skill forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Own the workforce planning strategy and technology roadmap, including partnering with science teams to create forecasting models, capacity planning capabilities, and resource optimization tools.
- Build and scale operational frameworks for enterprise-wide workforce planning governance and execution.
- Partner with senior leadership to align workforce planning initiatives with business strategies and financial planning cycles (OP1/2, QBRs).
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Business, Finance, Engineering, and People Experience & Technology (PXT) teams.
- Develop and implement success metrics and mechanisms to measure planning effectiveness and business impact.
- Lead and mentor a team of workforce planning professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7 years of technical product management or analytics experience.
- 5 years of workforce planning or workforce management experience.
- Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise planning systems.
- Experience leading complex, data-driven planning initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on operational excellence.
- Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication.
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Deep expertise in workforce planning methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
- Experience with agile development and product launch methodologies.
- Experience with workforce planning, HR tech, or similar enterprise planning systems.
- Understanding of financial planning processes and systems.
