Are you looking for a unique opportunity to help drive business operations and strategic programs for a newly created org?

The newly created Amazon’s Partnership Acceleration & Co-innovation Team is responsible for delivering corporate strategy, formulating strategic deals that accelerate the partnerships, and value maximizing through technical and business adoption. We are seeking an innovative, strategic, and results-oriented leader who will partner with the STO to manage the business operations and long term strategy for this impactful organization.

We’re looking for a tenacious self-starter with attention to detail to contribute in 1/ driving the rhythm of the business in operations and prioritization, 2/ run strategic programs to engage our internal and external customers and partners, and 3/ strategic planning with senior leadership to achieve results as scale of Amazon. You should have a passion for long term strategy, tactical planning and execution, and complex problem solving that balances the needs of our external and internal customers. You should have strong writing skills, be a natural collaborator, an ability to technically dive deep while having a sharp business acumen, work with diverse teams and businesses, and Invent and Simplify to create scalable mechanisms. You must have a track record of understanding customer needs and delivering solutions to address those needs.

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for driving strategic initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the business and team. Integrate and align with multiple and diverse internal stakeholders, product teams, and STOs
- Drive to decisions with stakeholders on all-up corporate strategies
- Drive working backwards plans for business and operational reviews, goals, OP1/OP2/3Ys, etc.
- Responsible for delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly business reporting

Basic Qualifications

- 7 years of technical product or program management experience
- 10 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5 years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- 8 years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
