You will manage and enable the developers contributing to your program to succeed at executing on project delivery. You will work on some of Amazon's hardest problems, building high quality, architecturally sound systems that are aligned with our business needs.This is a highly visible program across multiple organizations where you will have the opportunity to have a huge impact.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of relevant engineering experience
- 3 years of people management experience, managing engineers
- Experience in partnering with product and program management teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or closely related field
- Experience in building scalable systems based on web services
- Ability to lead the design of large-scale systems and to reason about the challenges and tradeoffs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MS or PhD in a science or engineering discipline
- Online display advertising industry experience
- Proven track record of hiring and building high-performance teams and managing cross-functional projects
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills; experience presenting complex technical information succinctly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong proficiency with Java, Python, Scala or C
