Key job responsibilities
- Own the SSD Finance automation roadmap end-to-end — define strategy, set big rock prioritization, establish success metrics, and drive execution across a 15-month transformation horizon 2) Lead the SSD Reporting and Governance committee; set intake standards, prioritization frameworks, and delivery accountability across 25 active automation and data infrastructure projects 3) Partner with SSD BIE and Global Automation teams to build and deploy in-house tools — including centralized bridge submission, automated planning templates, and data pipeline infrastructure — that replace manual Excel-based processes at scale 4) Establish foundational data infrastructure for the SSD Finance org — so all reporting runs from a single source of truth 5) Deploy AI-native planning capabilities: build a centralized context repository feeding Orcha/QuickSight to auto-generate first-draft planning narratives, financial summaries, and variance commentary across WBR, MEC, and OP cycles
- 5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
