We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic manager to bring their expertise to lead customer engagement strategy for the Amazon Travel & Events (AT&E) Meetings & Events program.

The Engagement Manager, Events Program will drive awareness, adoption, and behavior change for AT&E's managed meetings and events services by designing and executing strategic engagement across the customer journey (employee experience). You will structure content for modern channels, monitor journey health, and deliver targeted interventions that move customers (employees) from independent event sourcing to AT&E's managed program. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you'll translate intelligence into engagement strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a data-informed mindset, the ability to structure content for multiple channels, and a relentless focus on simplifying the experience for Amazonians.


Key job responsibilities
- Owns and executes the customer (employee) engagement strategy for the Events program — driving awareness, adoption, and sustained usage of AT&E's managed meetings and events services through change management, education, and multi-channel engagement
- Develops and executes change management strategies for new offerings ensuring audiences understand what's changing
- Designs and delivers multi-channel campaigns tailored to segments based on journey stage
- Designs modular content that serves employee experience channels
- Monitors and interprets engagement data to assess journey health — identifying friction points and opportunities for intervention
- Tracks and reports on engagement effectiveness, connecting activity metrics to business outcomes
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to align engagement with program goals
- Surfaces intelligence to inform decisions — acting as a strategic enablement partner, not a communications service provider
- Establishes and optimizes processes for content intake, review, and publication
- Experiments with new formats, channels, and approaches; scales what works, sunsets what doesn't


A day in the life
- Prioritize incoming requests — Evaluate ad hoc asks against the quarterly plan and intake protocol.
- Join a Program sync — The team is rolling out something new. You're shaping what employees need to know and when.
- Draft or refine content for an upcoming launch - Structure messaging for new services.
- Analyze a recent campaign's performance — Connect activity metrics to business outcomes.


About the team
The Customer Engagement & Experience (CEE) team is part of Amazon Travel & Events (AT&E). We are the team responsible for how Amazon employees discover, understand, and engage with AT&E's travel and meetings & events programs.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions
- Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
- 5 years of digital content management, communications, or content strategy experience
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives across multiple locations

Preferred Qualifications

- 7 years of event marketing or brand, program, or experiential marketing experience
- Experience creating, improving and executing engagement programs and action plans
- Experience in product marketing, program management, or business development
- Experience managing complex projects and/or programs within a matrix environment
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
