Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring proper waste disposal
• Operate cleaning machinery including vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning equipment with precision and care
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and perform heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices
• Support facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, or touch-ups as needed
• Follow safety guidelines consistently to prevent accidents during manual handling or when working with chemicals

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures
• Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools effectively
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safety protocol adherence and maintaining a safe work environment
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently

Pay: $25.00 - $125.00 per hour
