Description

This role will drive the internal rhythm of business, and organizational mechanisms for the Organization's Director overseeing a global organization. They will partner with the senior leadership to team to establish strategic oversight, planning and measurable tracking mechanisms that keep the organization on track and on plan. They will also create and maintain budget tracking mechanisms for leadership visibility and closely monitor and inspect budget compliance for the organizational budget.

Key job responsibilities
The role will create, maintain, execute and improve vertical-internal BizOps mechanisms, such as goals reviews, monthly business reviews, leadership meetings, budget inspections, HC reporting, and the overall Rhythm of Business cadence.

It's also responsible for conducting deep dives, audits, and inspections on internal reports to accurately report, audit, ensure compliance and identify areas for improvements of internal processes including, but not limited to overall budget, individual cost items (e.g. travel & expenses), and headcount (HC).

The role also communicates and educates key stakeholders on business vertical internal policies, guidelines, and ways of working, as well as informing and educating people managers and employees on BizOps processes through regular communications, office hours, and wiki pages.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
- Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $123,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
