The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an exceptional Semiconductor Industry Hi-Tech Consultant to drive innovation and transformation across the entire semiconductor and fabrication value chain. In this vital role, you will leverage your deep, holistic expertise to help semiconductor companies accelerate their business outcomes.
As a Senior Consultant, you will partner closely with C-suite executives and technology leaders to assess their current state, identify opportunities for improvement, and craft tailored strategies and solutions. Drawing upon your comprehensive knowledge of the semiconductor industry, you will be a trusted advisor on cloud architectures, electronic design automation (EDA) tools and processes, advanced manufacturing techniques, and end-to-end digital transformation.
The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering, or 7 years of practical semiconductor design work including full-chip and subsystem integration experience
- 4 years of professional work experience, or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Extensive knowledge of EDA tools, workflows, and best practices for chip design and verification
- Proficiency in advanced semiconductor manufacturing optimization techniques, including Industry 4.0 and smart factory principles
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives from strategy through execution
- MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, processes, technologies and key suppliers
- 5 years of industrial controls and automation experience
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration
- Familiarity with CHIPS Act requirements and compliance
- Background in clean room operations and fab environments
