We are looking for a high caliber Senior Product Manager - Tech to join the AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery Service (DRS) team and lead product management for the service.

AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (DRS) is a disaster recovery service that enables organizations to minimize downtime and data loss with fast, reliable recovery of on-premises and cloud-based applications. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Key job responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a compelling product vision, strategy and business impact.
- Deeply understand the technology that underpins our mission-critical service. Collaborate closely with your immediate engineering partners and partner teams to support the long term technology strategy.
- Work closely with sales & marketing and finance teams to understand friction points and opportunities. Collaborate with engineering counterparts on the roadmap to address gaps, identify dependencies and clear blockers, balancing impact vs. engineering cost.
- Champion the ideal end-to-end experience for your customers.
- Leverage data and define the success metrics for features or services to track performance, deep-dive on issues and uncover trends and patterns.

Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of technical product management with internet business experience
- 5 years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 3 years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
