As a Sr GenAI Security Consultant, you might start your day leading a security architecture review for a customer's GenAI implementation, followed by collaborating with AWS service teams on new security features for Amazon Bedrock. By afternoon, you're developing a proof-of-concept for an AI-powered security monitoring solution, then mentoring team members on secure prompt engineering practices. Your day might conclude with drafting a blog post about emerging GenAI security patterns or preparing for an upcoming industry conference presentation. Throughout the day, you'll balance customer engagements, innovation projects, and thought leadership activities while staying at the forefront of GenAI security advancements.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. - Design and implement security controls specific to GenAI applications
- Develop security frameworks and governance models that enable rapid, secure GenAI adoption
- Guide customers through security assessments, architecture reviews, and implementation
- Create reusable security accelerators and assets for AWS GenAI services
- Design and implement innovative GenAI solutions for security use cases

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture
- Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system
- 7 years of security, compliance and risk management experience
- Experience in information security with expertise in securing generative AI systems
- AWS Professional level certification
- Experience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management
- US government security clearance of top secret or above
