The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. - Own financial planning and forecasting for Worldwide AWS Marketing, including operating expenses, headcount costs, program spending, travel, and capital expenditures
- Create insightful financial reports that explain monthly and quarterly expense variances, helping leaders understand what's driving differences between actual and planned performance
- Drive the month-end close process across the AWS Marketing Finance organization, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Generate and communicate financial insights using financial systems and analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making
- Standardize and improve reporting processes by identifying opportunities for automation, streamlining workflows, and enhancing efficiency across the team

Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and entries
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- 3 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
